Administration

I am Dr. Jeff Quin, the Lawrence County CTE Director.  I want to welcome you to the Lawrence County Technology and Career Center (LCTCC). Currently, the CTE Department is comprised of 10 teachers and support staff at LCTCC and four teachers at the feeder schools. LCTCC is very fortunate to have a very talented and caring group of professionals who are focused on helping students make a successful transition from high school to the world of work, and/or continue their education through the military, technical school, two year community college or university.

We are proud of our students' successes in CTE and welcome the public to come tour our programs. In addition, all of our programs have an advisory committee that is comprised of business, industry, and community members who help advise the faculty and staff on how best to prepare our students for the workforce or college.

I received my Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University, a M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Mississippi College. I am endorsed in the following areas: Administration, Chemistry, Mathematics, General Sciences, and Technology.  I have 22 years of experience in education and administration in the K-12 setting. My first nine years was spent teaching chemistry, physics, general science, and technology classes. I also taught Chemistry for the local community college for four years. Since 2008, I have been as assistant principal, principal, and director. I have been the Career and Technical Center Director for three years.  I have been married to Kim Reid Quin for 22 years and I have a 11 year old son named Aaron and a 7 year old daughter, Olivia.
